The emergency measures included relocating Surrogates and their families to safer areas and transferring biological materials to secure facilities in Lviv, where they were stored under carefully controlled conditions. Our team communicates daily with Surrogates and Intended Parents, managing everything from delivery to baby registration. Despite the challenges, our commitment ensured that all parties involved felt safe and satisfied, affirming the effectiveness of our response.
Strengthening Infrastructure and Services
The ongoing conflict has necessitated a significant enhancement of our infrastructure. We have strengthened our facilities, ensuring they have advanced medical technologies and robust security measures. Our clinics are now located strategically to facilitate easy access while maintaining safety, close to shelters, and equipped with emergency supplies.
Moreover, we have improved our services to accommodate the needs of Intended Parents during these uncertain times. Our operations are now more flexible, with increased virtual consultations and remote coordination capabilities, reducing the need for physical presence until necessary. We have also streamlined our administrative processes to expedite the surrogacy journey, focusing on efficiency and safety.
Lessons Learned and Looking Ahead
The experiences during the war were instrumental in refining our operations and emergency responses. Today, AVE Fertility has enhanced its protocols to maximize safety and minimize the need for travel for Intended Parents. We conduct as many procedures as possible remotely and have established stringent guidelines for the final visits of Intended Parents to ensure their safety.
